What is Slater’s Lodge
Slater’s Lodge is a 61-hectare (~150-acre) site east of Rushden, offering a rare chance for AFC Rushden & Diamonds to secure a community orientated stadium of our own while benefiting the growth of the town. Proposed by Redington Capital for inclusion in the updated Local Plan, the site sits to the east of the Rushden East Sustainable Urban Extension (SUE).

Our position within Slater’s Lodge
AFC Rushden & Diamonds is actively shaping the future of Slater’s Lodge, a 61-hectare site within the Rushden East development. The location is ideally positioned alongside the proposed secondary school and wider community facilities, offering a rare chance for the Club to secure a meaningful, lasting home.
We envision a purpose-built football stadium that serves both elite competition and grassroots participation. Working with Redington Capital, the Council, and local stakeholders, our goal is to create a facility that:

- Supports community engagement
- Strengthens local pride
